7 questions to know a little more about Camille

What does interior design mean to you?

For me, interior design is knowing how to listen to others and to the environment in order to create functional, harmonious and comfortable spaces. The transformed space will then express the identity and personality of its owner.

Why did you choose to become a designer?

It was during and after a long trip around the world that my professional transition began. When I left I knew that I was leaving my job and its environment forever. I then took advantage of this trip to think about the job that would best suit me, linking my interest for the different architectures I met and more globally the look of the world. When I came back, my registration in a design school was done.

An obsession?

Aristotle said it: "All men have a natural desire to know", for me it is an obsession. It is this desire to learn that drives me daily, both at work and in my private life.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Always in the details, my favorite part of my job is taking the time to refine the final details of a 3D view or the layout of a complex plan elevation.

A style that joins you the most?

Mid-Japandi is the style that fits me the most today. It mixes for me with accuracy the colors and materials of the modern century with the philosophy and the pure design that Japandi has to offer. It is also interesting when chosen for a client to give the space to add his own personality to his interior in a harmonious way.

Besides design, what are your passions?

My main passion, I live it every day with my move here in Canada, is travel.

My favorite trips : Japan, Svalbard, New Zealand and again Namibia and its safaris.

The future ones on my list: Peru, Egypt, Jordan to name a few.
