7 questions to know a little more about Pierrick

What does interior design mean to you?

I see interior design as a science that, combined with art, allows us to push the limits of the sensitive world around us. In my opinion, design should bring to the table the well-being of the users while highlighting the unique style of the designers through their creations.

What do the projects that inspire you have in common?

I definitely have a strong attraction to projects with a very minimalist, clean and often monochromatic feel. I have a particular affinity for the use of more organic forms and curved walls. Generally speaking, my major influences are Australian, Japanese and Eastern European architecture and design.

What inspires you in general?

Contemporary art, music, minimalist philosophy and nature.

Your favorite quote?

''Everything comes to him who knows how to wait.'' A simple quote that accompanies me in all spheres of my life and also very representative of the success of a design project.

Why did you choose to become a designer?

Being an interior designer is, in my opinion, the perfect job to exploit the different facets of my personality. It allows me to explore both my very creative side and to reconcile it with a side turned towards project management and customer service. I also really appreciate the human aspect of the job. We enter into the intimacy of our clients and create spaces that are entirely adapted to their needs in order to improve their well-being and comfort. There is something very rewarding about that.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Seeing the smiles and wonder on the faces of clients after presenting their project. It's that moment that reminds me why I chose this profession.

A sin to charm you?

Sugar. Offer me something sweet and I'll do the impossible for you!
